The Fern is situated just north of Swindon Town Centre. If you are travelling by car, just follow the signs to Swindon Town Centre from junction 15 or 16 of the M4 or the A419 (or any other route to Swindon), then follow the sign to North Star, which will take you to Great Western Way B4289. Ferndale Road runs parallel to, and north of, Great Western Way, so you can take Whitehouse Road, and the second left will take you into Ferndale Road. The Fern is located only twenty yards on the right hand side. Or, from the North Star roundabout, follow the sign to The Ferndales, which will take you into Ferndale Road.
If you are arriving by train, Swindon Station is only ten minutes' walk or a few minutes by taxi, from the Fern. If walking from the station, turn left into Station Road as you exit the station, and take the first left into Corporation Street under the railway bridge, across the roundabout, and into Whitehouse Road. The second left is Ferndale Road. The Fern is twenty yards on the right hand side.
